Bloglines’ New Playlists Feature
Wow, Bloglines has a new ‘Playlists’ feature. It’s actually just organizing your feeds by ‘playlists’ and ‘folders.’
This is a very useful feature especially for people like me who have hundreds of feed subscriptions. The great thing is that you can view the most recent feeds of all your subcriptions in a playlist in a single page. Each subscription has a panel window which you can collapse or expand, depending on whether you want to view the most recent feeds or not. You can even move around each panel in the window to prioritize and organize your subscriptions! ![]()
There’s also a modify link if you want to include or exclude a certain feed subscription in a playlist.
Even as I write this I already find the new feature useful. I have, for example, already created an ‘Earning Online’ playlist, and just looking at the new feeds in this category has made me feel more empowered.
The Bloglines people have indeed done their homework. This will only make their service more popular. Kudos to Bloglines!
