Build a DIY Digg Clone with Drupal
Drupal developer Tony Mobily has built a new module for Drupal which enables anyone to start up their own Digg clone. You can grab the code and contribute to the project at drigg-code.org, or you can see it in action at drigg.org.
Drigg 1.0 Officially Out!
Guess what, visited the Drupal project page for Drigg and found out that the Drigg module has already been uploaded! Congratulations and thanks to Tony Mobily and his team. :) I firmly believe that this module will just add to the power and popularity of Drupal. :D
Not Drigg 1.0
Sorry, it seems that I made a mistake and saw the beta version. (Caused by not seeing the module the last time I went to the Drigg project page. Perhaps I wasn't logged in, or the module wasn't actually there.) But Drigg 1.0's release has actually been moved to the 2nd or 3rd of January.

Drigg 1.0 is here!
Wow. Drigg 1.0 will finally be released December 30. That's tomorrow, December 31, Philippine time. Can't wait. Might have to update some of my sites to Drupal 5.0 to be able to use this module. Wanted a Digg-like capability for my sites since it would increase member partipation, but the available modules were buggy -- hope Drigg is not. However, from what I've seen so far, I have reason to be optimistic and expect Drigg to work A-OK
