EXTENDED REGISTRATION PERIOD FOR THE GARAGE’S ADVANCED PHOTOSHOP SEMINAR
Missed the registration deadline for The Garage’s Advanced Photoshop Seminar? You can still register until Monday, 07 April 2008, 6:00 p.m.
Mario Ramirez, an Adobe Certified Photoshop Expert and Instructor, will be facilitating The Advanced Digital Imaging with Photoshop Workshop. This workshop will teach you procedures and techniques that will allow you to manage and enhance your images by:
· organizing and keeping track with Adobe Bridge
· making subtle and dramatic selections using masks and quick masks
· making extra-sharp selections using the Pen tool and applying vector masks
· repairing image problems and creating photographic effects (remove or lessen signs of aging, whiten teeth, transform a frown into a smile, slimming, red eye removal, etc.)
· creating compositions and panoramas using the Extract filter, layer masking, and panoramic merging
The course will also introduce you to the new tools available in Photoshop CS3 such as Non-destructive Filters, the Quick Selection tool, Auto-Aligning and Auto-Blending of layers, improve Cloning Stamp, and enhanced Vanishing Point filter.
Knowledge of these techniques will help you add pizzazz to your graphic designs and improve the effectiveness of your printed designs, professional photographs, company communications, marketing materials and more.
The seminar will be held on April 8, 10, 15, 17, 24 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at The Garage: Jesuit Communications Creative Technologies Center. The program fee is PhP 5,000 inclusive of snacks.
