I’ve been trying out Internet Explorer 7 as my default browser for a few days now, but somehow missed the speed of Opera. So I decided to go back to the latter browser. The problem was I had trouble figuring out how. Did a few Google searches, and finally found a page with the correct instructions. So if you’re using Opera 9, it’s Tools>Preferences>Advanced>Programs, then check the ‘Check if Opera browser is default browser on start-up’ box. The next time you open Opera, you’ll be prompted to use it as your default browser. (Or if the Opera browser is currently open, close all Opera windows, and restart Opera.) That’s it!
