Graphic Designer
Job Objective:
Visualizes and executes graphic design and layout of JesCom advertising/promotional materials and merchandising collaterals
Reports to:
The Assistant Marketing Manager
Main Responsibilities:
▪ Coordinates with JesCom departments on general and specific ad/promo/merchandising material design needs
▪ Prepares workplan and calendar for the year to ensure that all requirements of the organizations are met
▪ Designs at least 3 studies for promotional and product materials for all JesCom products
▪ Finalizes design and ensures that execution is accurate
▪ When needed, be able to tutor or teach a course on graphic design for the Garage
▪ Updates and maintains websites
▪ Performs other tasks from time to time
Qualifications / Skills Required:
▪ Experience in graphic design work (professional or amateur portfolio must be presented)
▪ A degree with emphasis in Graphic Design a plus but not absolutely required
▪ Proficiency in graphic design softwares (Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
▪ Working knowledge of web design (Macromedia Dreamweaver, HTML, etc.)
▪ Ability to work logically, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
▪ Illustration and photography skills a plus
▪ Proven team working skills, combined with willingness to use own initiative and to work with minimum supervision
▪ Keen interest in, and enthusiasm for, the work of the foundation
