You might have noticed that the site is now loading faster. That's because I found the bug which was causing the slowdown. It was caused by a wrong entry in the MyBlogLog Tracking Server field in the settings of the MyBlogLog Drupal module.

I entered the number '3' when I should have entered the server itself -- 'track3.mybloglog.com. In other words, the PinoyTechie.com site couldn't find MyBlogLog tracking server '3', thus causing the site to stall.

So if you're experiencing the same problem -- I had been noticing the number '3' in the firefox status bar while the site was loading -- hope this post helps.
