PayPal to EON Transfer a Success!

This time, PayPal and EON kept their promise. After reading on the Net instances of delayed withdrawal of PayPal funds to Unionbank's EON debit card, I am happy to report that I just successfully transferred my PayPal earnings to my EON Cyberaccount. Indeed, like PayPal and EON advertised, it only took 3-4 days for the money to get through.

All I needed to do was make the transfer in my PayPal account. After doing so last Wednesday/Thursday, the transaction was noted in my transaction history. Last night, Monday, I checked my EON account online, and lo and behold, there was my PayPal earnings reflected on my account balance. Already converted to pesos of course -- I computed it, and the dollar to peso conversion rate came around to around a little less than 40 Philippine pesos to the dollar. I then checked my PayPal account and this particular transaction was already marked by PayPal as completed.

Take note that the 5 US dollars PayPal transfer fee (or roughly 200 pesos) was already deducted from my original withdrawal. So, for example, if you withdraw $300, you will actually get the equivalent of of $295. Not bad reallly, considering all the trouble you will have to go through, if you received your earnings in the form of a check/cheque. I'm not sure if EON deducted its own fee -- this might be the reason why I got the less than 40$ conversion. Perhaps not. Will check on this later.

At any rate Kudos to PayPal and Unionbank. Unlike the PayPal validation problem last time, this time, with this particular transaction, you both get an A mark.Laughing
