Description: This one-day interactive course gives an overview of the rule of law system in the country. Participants will be introduced to new legal issues on information communication technology (ICT). Case studies and principles are presented for analysis and insights on emerging trends.
Topics including internet libel, business scams, bank fraud, text as evidence, email sexual harassment, identity theft and the right to privacy will be discussed. A dynamic framework is used to provide answers for real life questions.

Objective: A successful participant will:
1. Understand the concept of rule of law system and various legal terms in e-business;
2. Identify the new issues that affect his/her organization with the advent of technology;
3. Address ICT related concerns focused on the acceptable standard of electronic evidence; and
4. Develop an awareness of emerging law and trends to stay ahead in the industry.
