A judge has issued an injunction to bar Vonage from using Verizon VoIP technology -- potentially affecting Vonage's 2.2 million VoIP customers -- in a heated case that might set precedent for other lawsuits related to VoIP. Earlier this month, an eight-person jury found Vonage guilty of infringing three Verizon patents and awarded Verizon $58 million.
