Win $153,000 with Pixelotto!
Earlier this month, I got an e-mail from Alex Tew, the creator of the Million Dollar Home page. He announced that a Pixelotto winner will finally be declared come January 5, 2008. This is a great chance to get rich because it's free, and all you have to do is register and click 10 advertisements on the Pixolotto page every day. In other words, you are allotted only 10 clicks per day. The name of a random player will then be drawn as the lucky winner on the aformentioned date.
Here is how Wikipedia explains Pixelotto:
In December 2006 Tew Launched a similar site called pixelotto. Pixels on pixelotto are $2 rather than $1 USD. One month after the last pixel is sold, or in December 2007 (whichever comes first) a winning ad is determined; half of the proceeds will go to one of the contestants clicking that ad, 10% will go to a charity of the winner's choice, and the remaining 40% will go to Tew. Contestants are allowed to click only 10 ads a day.
It seems that the concept didn't take off like the Million Dollar Home page did, because not all the pixels were sold in a year's time, but still more than 300,000 US dollars in advertising revenue isn't peanuts.
So that you will be reminded to click your allotted 10 clicks every day, I suggest, if you are Firefox user, that you install the Session Manager add-on for Firefox, and save an Initial Session (or whatever you want to call it) which would include the Pixelotto page as one of the initial windows. In the Opera browser, I think there is a Speed Dial Option where you set your initial sites in designated boxes of a blank Opera web page.
